• Complete System Restore
  • The process involves a selective backup of any files that you wish to keep, followed by securely wiping the hard disk drive, reinstalling the operating system and any required software, restoration of backed up files to their original locations, installation and configuration of any additional hardware and software, such as printers, scanners, wireless networks, cabled internet, mobile phones.
  • Typical price for this service is £40.00. This includes collection of system from home, consultation with user on any required information such as data required to be backed up, typical return time of 1-2 days, arrangement for delivery of system at a specific time, finalised configuration of additional hardware and software.
  • No payment until job is complete to customer's satisfaction.
• System Upgrade / Optimisation
  • If your system is running slowly, taking a long duration to open programs, the hard disk activity light is constantly flickering while nothing appears to happen, your system may require either being cleaned up and optimised, its hardware upgraded to a higher specification, or both. A system cleanup will remove unneccessary software, background processes, so-called "bloatware", "spyware", "malware" or other superfluous nonsense.
  • Typical price for this service starts from £30.00, depending on work carried out, any additional hardware required. This may either include home visit and on-site repair, or home collection and subsequent arranged redelivery within 2-3 days, depending on customer's preference and/or extent of work required.
  • No payment until job is complete to customer's satisfaction.
• Wireless Network Installation / Configuration / Security
  • Installation of a wireless network will provide wireless internet access to all WiFi-enabled devices in your home, such as notebook computers, games consoles, mobile phones.
  • Typical price for wireless network installation is £35.00. This includes configuration of up to 3 WiFi-enabled devices. Each wireless connection is properly secured and encrypted against intrusion. A WiFi-enabled router is required for wireless network installation, this must be provided on-site by the customer, or can be supplied by ourselves for an additional £35.00. Any computers that are not WiFi-enabled can have an adapter fitted, supplied at a cost of £15.00. All modern notebook computers are WiFi-enabled by default.
  • No payment until job is complete to customer's satisfaction. If any delayed problems emerge within 7 days after completion, we will issue a free return call-out.
• Private home tuition on a wide range of computing subjects.
  • Home-based training in basic computer use, training on specific application packages, use of online functions such as e-mail and internet. We understand computers can be scary at times. Do not be afraid to give us a call.
  • Typical price for tuition is £20.00 per hour. If being tutored in e-mail use, generally one or two lessons is enough, with memorable visual aids to encourage independence and practice.
